A shared Cup

What a joy to have just read Guy’s article in the latest edition on his youthful trek of the Pennine Way. I was drawn in particular to his delightful encounter of High Cup Nick. I walked it less than a week ago, on a fabulously snowy and icy day. I love the challenge of walking through the great gorge itself, before tackling the daunting scramble up through the Nick at the final section with only the wild ponies for any company and stunning views over to the Lakeland fells behind.
