Most packs offer space and fittings for a hydration system. These are great for on-the-go refreshment, but bear in mind you can’t monitor how much is left without looking in the pack. And check where the reservoir sits within the pack and how it might affect the weight distribution and storage capacity when full. Some top-end packs come with a reservoir included – usually for a premium price.
