“Walking is a huge part of our relationship, so it felt very appropriate,” says Adam. “I knew if we could survive walking over 200 miles across the country together in all British weathers, we were made for each other.
“I was super thrown off guard when he popped the question halfway through,” says Katie. “At the time I was sitting with a can of cloudy lemonade reading our Coast to Coast guidebook!
“Walking has become more central to our lives since being together. We’ll continue to walk whenever we can between wedding planning to make sure we reach this year’s 1000 miles.”
