Some shoes are so darn lovely to wear that you’re tempted to put them on every time you leave the house (and even while you’re in the house). Such is the case with these, which we found to be comfortable from the off, with soft cushioning all around the foot, yet light and flexible enough to be anything but cumbersome. The lugs aren’t very aggressive, but then these shoes aren’t built for clambering up mountains – they’re designed for tackling well-laid footpaths. Come rain, storm or puddle, they’ll keep your feet bone dry, and even on warm days your feet won’t sweat much.
