Cam and have go

I was determined to complete my 1000 miles before a birthday on the 1 September, and I just succeeded – in Nyon, Switzerland. Much of the mileage was with brilliant U3AC walking groups from Cambridge, and in Cambridgeshire.

Walks within about 20 miles of Cambridge are considerably better than many expect, not least within the fantastic city itself. A week later I completed 2000 miles since the March 2020 lockdown, in the Jura mountains.

Tomorrow, however, it will be Jesus Green, the Backs, and the river Cam towards Grantchester. Wonderful at all times of year!
