Rescuer becomes rescued

‘Walking in the Mendips, we came across a lady who was on the floor, having had an awful tumble. I offered my phone to her husband, and we stayed with them for half an hour or so. Then my partner and I headed out of the woods so we could greet the ambulance driver and direct them to the couple. After waiting a while, I headed back to let the couple know the ambulance wasn’t here yet. But I’d taken the wrong path and when my partner rang to say the ambulance had arrived, I realised I was lost! As darkness was descending, I was getting rather nervous, and I was so pleased to see the husband of the injured lady, who’d very kindly come looking for me.
