For 39-year-old Kevin Hussey, it’s been a path to a new self. ‘Summer was difficult as I suffered with health setbacks. But the challenge has made me look at new ways to understand myself and my limitations. I feel like a different person to the start of the year, and I’ve begun to liberate myself from previous toxic self-admonishment. It’s not really about reaching 1000 miles, it’s about one journey.
