NOW ‘Walking was a pleasure and a lifesaver’

North Yorkshire’s Cat Dawson continues to share her love of the great outdoors with her little girl. ‘Starting the year in lockdown and on maternity leave, walking every day was a pleasure, a lifesaver and one of the few activities I could do with my baby. Now I’m back working full-time, walking is still as necessary to us as ever. The ultimate goal of enabling and encouraging our daughter to access the fresh air resolutely remains. The #walk1000miles community is incredible and inspiring every single day – we will definitely sign up again for the 2022 challenge!’
