I enjoyed reading your ‘small is beautiful’ articles, especially the one about Robert Hooke.

One minuscule point that you did not mention is that he was born on the Isle of Wight. The name ‘Wight’ comes from the Dutch ‘wicht’ meaning small. The Small Island.
