Beauty writ large (and small)

Enjoying Tom Bailey’s read describing his treasured small finds in big landscapes resonated with my recent experience of the stunningly beautiful northwest coast of Scotland. Pictured is the sun rising beyond the dramatic clouds over Gairloch, where we not only enjoyed the majestic mountains of this Highland oasis, but were privy to the circling overhead of white-tailed eagles. Our binoculars let us observe seals languishing on the loch, and mighty stags commanding their place of dominance in this vast and beautiful landscape…
