This is my husband Richard on the fantastic coast between Kippford and Rockcliffe taking in ‘Mote of Mark’, an ancient hilltop fort.

In summer the gorse was in bloom and looking fabulous. The beach at Kippford is made up exclusively of seashells and is like nothing we had seen anywhere. Janice Vernon, Kendal
