On the cliff edge
Clavell Tower in Dorset is a prominent feature on the South West Coast Path, and was actually moved back from its original position, where it was perilously close to a crumbling cliff. It’s now perfectly secure and you can enjoy the views that stretch for miles along the shoreline and out to sea. The clifftop walking here is spectacular, of course, and Durdle Door is a short drive away. landmarktrust.org.uk
