GETTING HERE
Blaenavon is 5 miles southwest of Abergavenny; the walk starts at Keeper’s Pond a mile north of Blaenavon on the B4246, or you can walk from Abergavenny to Llanfoist and up to join the trail. X24 bus runs frequently from Newport, Cwmbran and Pontypool (all have rail stations) to Blaenavon.

There’s also a cafe at the World Heritage Centre with gorgeous views across the valley (01495 742339).
