Miles walked this month: 67
I’m celebrating! This month marks my highest mile count to date.
I know it’s not a patch on the ground covered by our resident Duracall
Bunny Nick, but it’s all thanks to a holiday – and not really the sort where I could recharge my batteries. It was one of those holidays the British weather can’t spoil (not that it tried this time). We cycled, swam, climbed but mostly walked all day, every day. Geocaching, adventure golf, laser tag, football, even teetering along the high ropes – all those steps counted. The key was leaving the car (but not the key) in the car park for the week – no cars allowed on site made our legs the only option. And boy did I feel the benefit. I could see it too, all around – wildlife enjoying the freedom to roam without fear of four wheels and the greenest of greenery in clean air.
Note to self: On track for #walk500miles and proud!
