The hills of home
It was lovely to see the very familiar (to us) view in the Where is this? on May’s Tea break page. The town of Dursley is in the background, at the foot of the farthest hill (Stinchcombe Hill), and we can see our house from this spot. This is one of our favourite walks from home, and enjoying a flask of coffee and piece of cake on a nearby seat kept us sane in the lockdowns. The picture is taken from Uley Bury, and shows Downham Hill, known locally as Smallpox Hill, in the centre ground. Here is my version of the picture, taken this morning.
