TORQ Flapjacks £1.85

We’ll admit being suckers for the occasional free sample, but we liked Torq’s fabulous Explore flapjacks so much that we’ve since been buying them with actual money. Energy-enriched, moist and chewy (even after weeks of storage) and not turning into porridge on a hot day in the hills, they are vegan-suitable and certified organic by the Soil Association, meaning they are free of pesticides and chemicals. And apart from the oats, they’re allergen-free. There’s a fair bit of fat and sugar in them of course, but if you’re offsetting that with your walk, then the energyreplacement factor more than cancels out the calories.
