GETTING THERE

Tal-y-bont sits on the B5106, six miles south of Conwy and six miles north of Llanrwst. It’s served by the no.19 Llew Jones Coaches service (01492 640320) between Llandudno and Betws-y-Coed. This also stops at Conwy and Llanrwst.

WHERE TO STAY & EAT

For a more luxurious night, try the

com). Rooms start at £80 for two, and the hotel is home to Zephyr’s

Bar & Grill, which serves mains for around £15. Another food option is Ye Olde Bull Inn (01492 660313,

facebook.com/yeoldebull) which is passed on the walk in Llanbedr-ycennin. They serve hearty pub food with mains at around £13.
