2 Get matched

On 10 November registration closes and pairs are randomly matched by our elves. Soon after, you’ll get an email from us giving you the details of your giftee. (This will be a different person to the one sending you a gift).

3 Choose + send your gift

Thinking about your gift is a big part of the fun and we encourage research by looking for your giftee’s posts in the #walk1000miles Facebook group. There’s a guideline limit of £10 spend on new items, or this year you can opt to accept good quality second-hand items. It’s absolutely the thought that counts. (If you’re short of an idea, a #walk1000miles calendar is always welcome!) Send your gift to arrive by Christmas, and when you get yours post a photo in the group!
