WALK HERE

See Walk 15 in this issue for a step-by-step guide to our walk, including a shortened version which makes use of public transport.

GETTING THERE

The walk starts in the large free car park at Everton Brow, which is also served by frequent bus services. The short version has Liverpool Central and St Michael’s as its start and finish points.

WHERE TO EAT, DRINK & STAY

The city centre is packed with every kind of bar, café and restaurant imaginable. Our favourites are the Kazimier Garden (no phone,

invisiblewindfactory.com), which is a beautifully illuminated courtyard in chic Seel Street, and the stunning warehouse bars and diners of the Baltic Triangle (no phone, baltictriangle.co.uk).

The Holiday Inn opposite Lime Street station (0151 705 2844, hiliverpool.com) has doubles from £91.57, while the ultra-cool Titanic Hotel at Stanley Dock (0151 559 1444) has doubles from £100 up to… well, serious money.
