RAB Cubit Stretch Down Jacket

-

When it comes to staying warm on a winter walk, it’s not always about having the thickest, warmest jacket you can find. The very best insulators are the ones that adapt to what we’re doing: the ones that manage heat effectively when we’re working up a sweat on a hill, but then keep us cosy when we stop for a Twix. (In fact if you do find a super-thick, super-toasty jacket, it’s likely been designed for people who need to keep still a lot, like anglers and photographers.) So here’s a jacket that knows exactly what you need – and delights in providing it.

A SECOND LIFE

The versatile Cubit Stretch is filled with 100% recycled down, giving a second life to quality down that might otherwise have ended up in landfill.

READY FOR ANYTHING

The outer Pertex® Quantum fabric is breathable and weather resistant, with a fluorocarbonfree Durable Water Repellent finish.

WARMTH ON THE GO

The insulation inside the Cubit Stretch is 700 fill-power down. Toasty when you’re stationary and adaptable on the go, down has the highest warmth to weight ratio of any insulation available. The NikWax Hydrophobic treatment will help extend the life of your jacket and protect it from moisture.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND BREATHABLE

The Cubit Stretch weighs in at just 564g (size Medium) – extremely light by insulator standards – and remains breathable even on the most strenuous ascent.

ALL-ROUND PROTECTION

Built with advanced Pertex® 3D Weave technology, the jacket has excellent wind resistance, a light weight, and allows for maximum stretch and mobility on the move.

ALL YOU NEED

The Cubit Stretch has a durable YKK Vislon front zip with a soft, fleece-lined chin guard and two spacious zipped hand pockets, perfect for stashing gloves and snacks.
