‘I started #walk1000mi­les to get fitter and to lose weight. It’s been an unexpected bonus how much the challenge really benefits my mental health. I live with depression and I’ve found getting up and walking three miles in the country helps me stay positive for the whole day. I’m about to start the final year of my Open University degree, and starting my day walking clears my head, controls the depression and puts oxygen into my brain so I can
