WHERE THE LAND ENDS

Countryfile Magazine - - Month In The Country -

A blustery walk along the 200-foot-high granite cliffs at Land’s End in Cornwall, one of the country’s most famous landmarks, is an experience not to be missed. Gaze out over the Atlantic from Britain’s most south-westerly point and watch the waves crash at the foot of Longships Lighthouse. The cliffs are a birdwatcher’s paradise; look out for gannets, fulmars and kittiwakes, and even the chough, now making a welcome return to the area.
