Perfectly illustrated

I always look forward to BBC Countryfile Magazine arriving, but there’s one page in particular I gravitate to – Opinion by Sarah Maitland – particularly for the illustration which accompanies the text. The August picture, with a female farmer on a tractor, didn’t disappoint. The images are so striking with a beautifully chosen palette and gentle sense of humour. Discovering new artists whose work strikes a chord with me is exciting, especially when their subject is nature.
