Excited? All next week, December 11-15, CBeebies presents a week of brand new Bedtime Stories from celebrity readers…

MONDAY: Actor and children’s TV presenter Floella Benjamin reads I’ll Never Let You Go about how, when you love someone, you stand by them no matter what.

TUESDAY: Jennie McAlpine (Coronation Street and now I’m A Celebrity star) tells a tale about loving what we have when she reads ‘I Don’t Want Curly Hair!’ by Laura Ellen Anderson.

WEDNESDAY: Former JLS star and TV presenter JB Gill reads Ah-Choo! by Suzanne Lang. JB, which tells the story of a brother and sister who are trying to find the perfect family pet but everything they bring into the house makes the little girl sneeze.

THURSDAY: Mark Bonnar (Shetland, Line of Duty) introduces little ones to a fearless blue penguin in Rob Biddulph’s story Blown Away!

FRIDAY: Suranne Jones (Dr Foster) tells the story of Princess Ellie who is left in charge of a magical snowflake machine which malfunctio­ns. And keep your eyes and ears peeled as we get into the festive season because on Christmas Eve, Dr Who’s Pearl Mackie will get everyone settled down with Interstell­ar Cinderella by Deborah Underwood and Meg Hunt, a retelling of the classic fairy tale with a heroine who dreams of fixing space rockets.
