River rescue girl dies

POLICE say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death of a “happy” and “smiley” little girl who was rescued from a car that had plunged into a river in Wales.

Kiara Moore died after being recovered from a silver Mini in the River Teifi in Cardigan on Monday. Initially the two-year-old’s family feared the car had been stolen. A search revealed it was in the river, close to where it had last been seen.
