they have cer­tain char­ac­ter­is­tics about them. They’re a press­ing team, counter press­ing and they try and put you un­der pres­sure and cause chaos and make you un­com­fort­able.

“They will take risks and chances and they have some play­ers they’ve kept from the Cham­pi­onship and brought some new ones in.

“They’re a good club and they will bring a big sup­port and that in it­self shows that the sup­port­ers are happy with what they’ve seen.

“They do things in a sim­i­lar way to us I think. Their re­cruit­ment has been good and I think they’re do­ing a good job.

“They’ve changed the way they’re play­ing and it has been suc­cess­ful for them so far.”

The Sky Blues came into the di­vi­sion via the op­po­site door hav­ing won pro­mo­tion from League Two. Their start to the cam­paign has been slower but the mo­rale-boost­ing vic­tory at Ox­ford United last week­end was ev­i­dence that progress is be­ing made.

Robins said: “You look at this league and there are some big clubs and very good teams. It looks al­most like a sec­ond Cham­pi­onship and with the knock-on of play­ers com­ing down, it keeps get­ting bet­ter and stronger.

“We have to make sure we can com­pete and early on we have done that and the level has 100 per cent gone up since the last time we were in it only 12 months ago and we’ve had to do a lot over that time.”
