WANT to party like it’s 1999?

Coventry revellers have the chance to relive their raucous memories of the much-loved Crazy Daisy’s nightclub as it returns for a one-off reunion night.

The venue became a must-go destination for thousands of clubbers up and down the country during the mid-1990s to the early 2000s with its adrenalinefilled DJ sets, high-tech video wall and PlayStations.

But after the club - on the A45 between Rugby and Coventry was closed and transformed into a Chinese restaurant it was burned to the ground by arsonists.

Despite the building being gone - with work starting to build seven houses on the site the memories made there are still strong.

The reunion night will turn back the turntables to play some of the club’s biggest house and trance classics - and there’ll be plenty of lasers too!

But you’ll have to be quick because after only a week on sale, tickets have almost sold out.

Organiser Dougal Zebedee said: “After two years in hibernation ..... I think it’s time we got the Magic Roundabout turning again !!!!

“Miss seeing all my favourite friends with big smiles on their faces and hands in the air!

“The friendliest party loving crowd you’ll ever meet!

“I’ve got you a cracking venue that you’ve never been to before and you’re simply going to love, I’m pulling out all the stops with multi-room managed top sound systems and lighting, but most importantly ...... dance floors filled with the loveliest people you’ll ever meet so let’s pull out all the stops for another blinder!

“See you on the Magic Roundabout my lovelies, “Much Love, Dougal xxx” Judging on the comments on social media, a lot of you are very excited for Crazy Daisy’s return.

Nicky Underwood said: “Wishing the next two weeks away.”

Leila Marie wrote: “Bit excited me !!!”

Jay-Jingle Skinnfella Skinner added: “Going to be maooooosive.”

And Tony Price said: “It will be a fantastic party for sure.”

Make a date in your diaries for the reunion night on Saturday, October 13.

There will be two rooms of house music kicking off from 8pm. The party is set to last well into the early hours of Sunday morning, finishing at 3am.

And very excitingly, the location in Leamington Spa is top secret for now!

The set list so far sees some original Crazy Daisy DJs returning for the big reunion night.

Jay G and Jules will be there to play original Crazy Daisy house classics, and Ben Coleman will be playing trance classics.

There will also be sets from James Silver, Andy Rowley, Ben and Kelly, Marli, Paul Kenyon, Joe Hunt and Mark Eldridge.

And Craig Regan will be doing a tribute to Tony de Vit.

Tickets are a bargain £5, with a 98p booking fee added on. You can grab them at: https:// www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/crazydaisys-reunion-tickets-48578210736
