Head of Audience PHOTOGRAPHER Andrew Lock is used to being at the fringes of the action but he and his work will take centre stage at a special exhibition next week. Rock and Roll Dreams Come True The Live Music Photography of Andrew Lock 2008-2018 will celebrate his work. Taking place at The Oak House Sports and Social Club in Holly Walk, Leamington Spa, on Wednesday, from 7pm to 10.30pm, proceeds from the event will be split between Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice and The Cinnamon Trust - a national charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets. Entry is free and there will be short live sets by Steve Walwyn (Dr. Feelgood) and Coventry singer/songwriter Kristy Gallacher as well as a licensed bar. There will be a charity raffle with signed CDs and other items by some of the artists represented in the exhibition, donations Regent Framing, by local The businesses Catalan including Restaurant and The Tom O’The Wood country inn. Andrew said: “The exhibition will consist of 40 prints and 40 digital images showcasing my favourite live music photos from my 11 years of gig photography, many taken in Leamington Spa and the surrounding area including unpublished images, and is sponsored by Leamington company Presto Music.” Artists that will be exhibited include Magnum, Dr.Feelgood, John Otway, Marillion, Mostly Autumn, Hayseed Dixie and Fish as well as many local bands at venues including The Leamington Assembly, The Zephyr Lounge and festivals such as Napton, The Warwick Folk Festival and The Cropredy Festival.
