Obesity, litter and fatburgs concern

Coventry Telegraph - - LETTERS -

I SEE that the greed for money is likely to overrule the wishes of Coventry citizens yet again regarding the moving of the Coventry Cross for yet another food outlet. Haven’t we enough already? I hope that the council has the wherewithal in place to deal with the fatburgs in the sewers which is very likely. Also that the hospital is ready for the influx of obese persons which is another likely scenario. What with all the students swarming round them, the litter is going to be horrendous also as they don’t appear to know what a litter bin is. Driving up Gosford Street is likened to driving through a termites’ nest. Pedestrian crossings don’t exist, it’s a free for all. Someone is going to get hurt. K J Clarke Wyken
