UKIP membership actually on the rise

I AM writing in response to Ms Bembridge’s letter (Nov 27).

She says she does not want to name Tommy Robinson because she does not want to give him the oxygen of publicity, but her letter serves only to do just that.

She hasn’t exposed the ‘true nature of UKIP’ or explained what these divisive and abhorrent views are.

Despite Ms Bembridge’s claims, Tommy Robinson is not a member of UKIP but has been appointed to an unpaid role by the party leader.

UKIP membership has also been increasing across the country because people can see a clear alternative, instead of a wash of the same old establishment parties who have lied to us about Brexit and the state of our public services. Ian A Rogers Foleshill
