- By FIONNULA HAINEY News Reporter

A NEW convenience store serving Costa coffee will soon be open in the city centre.

The new Nisa shop will open at the bottom of the Millennium View student block on Trinity Street, opposite Sainsburys.

With food on-the-go and hot drinks, it is bound to be a big hit with students in the area - especially the ones living just above it.

An official opening date is not yet known but a spokesperson for Nisa said they hoped it would be by early March.

As well as serving Costa coffee, the Nisa store will also stock food from The Co-Op.

Costa Express branding has already gone up on the building’s exterior.

The company Nisa is a wholesalers delivering to stores across the UK. Some retailers choose to operate with Nisa branding but all Nisa shops are independently owned and run.

The new store will be around 2,000 square feet in size.

There are several Nisa stores in Coventry, including ones in Hillfields, Stoke, Earlsdon and Radford, but this will be the first located in the city centre.

Nisa is also recruiting for the new shop and jobseekers have been asked to send their CV to tom.clarke@nisaretail.com.
