Coventry named as one of the most unfaithful cities in the UK

THE top 15 most unfaithful cities in the country have been revealed - and Coventry’s third on the list.

Coventry was only beaten by Wolverhampton and Salford in the list, which has been compiled by Ashley Madison.

The world’s leading married dating site compiled its Winter Wanderlust list using last year’s winter signup data.

The website has now released its research, which was undertaken to learn which UK cities cheat the most when the temperature begins to drop.

Relationship expert and psychotherapist Lucy Beresford says: “Typically the colder months are when a lot of people long to be in a relationship and want someone to cuddle up with on the sofa/in front of the log fire, or to engage in the various winter rituals such as buying gifts or decorating the tree.

“However, it seems that not everyone in the country follows this desire and instead may be using an affair to fight off the winter blues.”

About one in 10 people have cheated on their current partner.

And now a new survey has found that one in 20 people say they’re more loyal to their mobile phone network than they are to their other half.

A further 16 per cent said that even if they haven’t cheated on their partner, their head has been turned.
