What you had to say about new Coventry cat cafe

COVENTRY’S brand new cat cafe opened its doors for the first time last week - and while some think it’s the purrrfect addition to the city, others have got their claws out.

For many, The Cat Lounge offers something a little different for feline fans.

But some worry for the welfare of the cats.

Hundreds of comments were posted on CoventryLive’s social media channels after we took a look around the cafe last week.

What you had to say... On the plus side...

Mary Morris said: “I didn’t realise the cats actually lived there. I’m not a cat person but I can imagine for people who are unable to have a pet/ cat of their own this could be a very pleasant experience.”
