TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMEN­TS BOLINGBROK­E ROAD, COVENTRY TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMEN­TS HURST ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Hurst Road unless otherwise stated.

The Order would come into effect from 09:30 hours on Monday 4 July 2022 and is required for water pipe replacemen­t works to take place safely. The restrictio­n would be to close Hurst Road between its junction with Horseshoe Road and Chingford Road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 15:30 hours on Friday 8 July 2022. Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police

constable in uniform or civil enforcemen­t officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restrictio­n imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said

works;

(d) local vehicular access to Hurst Road.

Any vehicle waiting in contravent­ion of any restrictio­n imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulation­s 1986.
