TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMEN­TS WOODSHIRES ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Woodshires Road unless otherwise stated.

The Order will come into effect from 08:00 hours on Monday 27 June 2022 and is required for water pipe replacemen­t works to take place safely. The restrictio­n will close Woodshires Road at its junction with Maple Walk in a Southern directions for approximat­ely 20 meters. The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 18:00 hours on Friday 10 June 2022. Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police

constable in uniform or civil enforcemen­t officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restrictio­n imposed by the Order; (c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said

works;

(d) local vehicular access to Woodshires Road.

Any vehicle waiting in contravent­ion of any restrictio­n imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulation­s 1986.
