Best places to live in Warks and the Midlands revealed
20 TOWNS, SUBURBS AND VILLAGES IN WARWICKSHIRE MADE THE CUT
VIBRANT towns and cosy villages have been named Warwickshire’s best places to live. Although the list could cause some controversy as only one area of Coventry made it into a similar list for the West Midlands.
Lifestyle website Muddy Stilettos has named its top 250 places to live in 2023, and it includes 10 places in Warwickshire, from the county town of Warwick to villages such as Dunchurch and Brinklow.
But a list of the best places to live in the West Midlands omits Coventry, instead selecting places such as Knowle, Sutton Coldfield, Coleshill and Bourneville.
The list points to the RSC in Stratford as well as proximity to Coventry’s universities and Birmingham’s nightlife as the reason for Warwickshire’s popularity.
It states: “With mediaeval gem Warwick Castle, rivers, ancient woodlands and beautifully preserved manor houses, Warwickshire has plenty of stylish boltholes to write home about.”
The list aims to draw on local knowledge and insight into what it claims are the 28 most sought-after counties in England, to guide potential buyers to the local hotspots and up-and-coming areas.
