Go WILD at new theme park land

Drayton manor opens new attraction ready for easter

- BY ZOE CHAMBERLAIN News Reporter

DRAYTON Manor Resort has revealed it is opening a new land – just in time for the Easter holidays.

Frontier Falls has a Wild West theme with special rides, a 4D cinema and daily shoot-outs.

It was set to launch when the Tamworth attraction fully reopens.

Up until now, it’s only Thomas Land that’s been open at weekends. But now, thrill-seekers are encouraged to ‘‘saddle up and experience the excitement of the Wild West like never before’.’

It comes as Drayton Manor also reopens its much-loved rollercoaster Shockwave, which closed last year for refurbishment. It is now upgraded and rebranded as The Wave.

Victoria Lynn, managing director at Drayton Manor Resort, said: “The opening of

Frontier Falls truly showcases what a thrilling 2024 we have in store for Drayton Manor, marking our biggest year yet.

“We’re constantly evolving the resort to ensure we’re offering fun and excitement for all ages, and can’t wait to open the gates to the new land and embark on a Wild West adventure like no other.”

Here’s what Drayton Manor says about the new attraction:

The Falls Theatre – a state-ofthe-art 4D venue showcasing an iconic Looney Tunes show. Guests will be transported into the zany world of their favourite characters - Wile E Coyote & Road Runner – as part of a sensory experience

Blasting Barrels & Co ride – an exciting Western twist on the classic teacup ride Sheriff ’s Showdown. It includes an interactive shoot-out ride to challenge coordination and reflexes

Wild West Area – complete with the immersive Wild West Street that will transport thrillseekers back in time to an era of cowboys, outlaws, and frontier towns. You may even have to get ready to be a part of the daily shoot-out.

Especially for Easter, families can take part in an Easter hunt, where they’ll adventure through an immersive trail to uncover sweet treats. Additionally, the park will host a variety of Easterthemed Thomas Land balcony shows, street entertainment throughout the day, and classic Rory shows on the main stage.
