A WARWICKSHIRE street has won a huge jackpot on the People’s Postcode Lottery.

And they’re not the only recent West Midlands winners. The region has been buzzing with excitement as The People’s Postcode Lottery announced a series of wins across the region, with total prizes amounting to a whopping £280k. Over recent weeks, five lucky streets have been drawn, with some residents scooping up to £125,000 each.

On April 28, families in Bilston, Wolverhampton were overjoyed as the WV14 6HZ postcode was selected, rewarding any participating household with a delightful £30,000 prize. Similarly, Telford residents in the TF1 5GN postcode area also celebrated receiving the same grand amount on April 13.

Meanwhile, smaller yet significant prizes of £1,000 were awarded to postcodes DY1 3LN in Dudley and WS14 0GN in Lichfield on April 17.

A spokesperson for The People’s Postcode Lottery commented: “People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which raises money for charities. Not only do our players win cash prizes, but good causes also receive essential support. Players sign up with their postcode and pay £12 per month. They are automatically entered into every draw and prizes are announced every day of the month. As 33 per cent of the ticket price goes to charities, our players know that they are helping amazing causes every single day.”
