hell-like hallways certainly emit an air of unease. One of the standout features of this title is the unsightly (and rather disturbing) evolution that takes place with the main character. If readers recall the adulterate­d toys in the original Toy Story, this is the feeling it evokes.

Not only this, but the hostile planet seems to be a dog-eatdog world with the protagonis­t eating all his brethren. This is certainly not a game to be played with the family. Instead, turn off the lights, and play in solitude. tribute to one of Ultimate’s finest games. The PC demo is impressive, we expect good things from the other versions.

Just To put their proof of concept through its acid test, Team Pat Morita have conjured up a playable demo of their remake of the seminal NES action platformer, Castlevani­a.

This will not evolve into a fullblown conversion but serve as a testing ground for all the mechanics they are trying to achieve in the engine. Once satisfied, they will progress to a brand new game inspired by this popular series. If the demo is anything to go by, all at Crash Towers are anticipati­ng much greatness from the final product. It has all the marks of a distinguis­hed game that stands out from the crowd.

No date for the final product has been set, but rest assured, we will be keeping a close eye on this one. promised the return of the Oliver Twins as directors, working in partnershi­p with the highly-skilled Russian team that brought us the brilliant re-imagining of Crystal Kingdom Dizzy.

How could we not be excited? Well, some of you may know that CRASH Towers received a preview copy of the 128K version of the game that is being programmed product is shaping up to be one of the greatest Yolkfolk adventures to date. The map is massive, the puzzles are as incredible as they ever were and the 8-bit eye candy is more sugar-coated than the Lollipop Kids.
