From mobile phenomenon to arcade game to Spectrum Next – that bird keeps on bobbing!

● Such a simple game concept, but devilishly difficult to do well at, even for the more seasoned arcade gamers among us. It’s all in the anticipation – look at which pipes are coming up, and with a tickle of the finger on the jump button, prepare to leap over the pipe and down the other side.

● Don’t be afraid to let the birdie fall! You need to ‘feel’ the rhythm of the game, once you have the pattern of play you need to enter the ‘zone’ and you’ll soon be making your moves in a zen-like state!

● Of course, you could say any tips for a game like this are just bollocks (Hey – Ed!) it’s all a game of luck really! Nice to see it on the Spectrum Next though!
