CRASHing Into SU?

If this announcement spread looks like it was put together in a rush, that’s because it was. Just as CRASH Issue 98 was going to print, we were informed the powers that be at our parent company, Europress, had done a deal with rival publishers EMAP and swapped CRASH magazine for an Atari ST title. Neither were published; Europress simply incorporated EMAP’s Atari ST mag into their own, and CRASH was merged with Sinclair User.

The CRASH team found out about the deal so late in the day they barely had time to mention it in the mag; even the Next Month page stayed in place. I’ve no idea what the two-page spread shown here replaced, but it was probably a house ad.
