FREDOLSEN UNVEILS AFRICA EPIC

-

Seeing lemurs in Madagascar, meeting dabbawalas in Mumbai and walking on white-sand beaches in the Maldives are among highlights of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ new 93-night sailing.

The ‘grand voyage’, Intrepid Beauty ofAfrica & the Indian Ocean, will depart Southampton in November 2023, travelling via Egypt and Oman to India, the Seychelles, Tanzania, SouthAfrica, Namibia, Senegal, the Canary Islands and Madeira before returning to the UK.

Martin Lister, head of itinerary planning and destination experience, said: “This sailing is a real adventure, and working closely with Mr Olsen Jnr himself, we have curated the itinerary to allow guests to have real, immersive experiences ashore, whether that’s visiting spice plantations or helping dabawallas deliver tiffin boxes in Mumbai, walking the dunes of the world’s oldest desert in Namibia, or taking in the cultures and traditions of destinations away from the beaten tourist track.” (fredolsencruises.com)
