REGENT ROLLS OUT DESIGN TOURS
Regent Seven Seas Cruises and sister brand Oceania Cruises have added two shore excursion programmes focusing on eco-friendly and architecture tours. The new ranges – dubbed Eco-Connect and Behind the Design on Regent, or Go Green and Beyond Blueprints on Oceania – take guests to see conservation efforts in action and go behind the scenes of architectural landmarks.
The eco range comprises more than 150 tours worldwide, including to an organic vineyard in Bordeaux, a sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica and a national park in Hue, Vietnam. Architecture tours are available in 10 European locations, including the Royal Library and Blue Planet aquarium in Copenhagen (above) and the Equinor office and Edvard Munch museum Munchmuseet in Oslo.
Regent’s president and chief executive, Jason Montague, said: “Guests love the service on our luxury fleet, but their primary reason for travel is to discover and explore. That’s why our destinations team has worked tirelessly, creating unique and immersive ways to explore destinations with fresh perspectives.” (rssc.com)
