SWAN HELLENIC TO DEBUT DIANA
Swan Hellenic has announced the name of its third expedition ship, set to launch in early 2023 in the Med. Diana will be the line’s largest ship to date, holding 192 guests in 96 staterooms and suites, most with balconies, alongside 141 crew. It will feature a swimming pool, spa and sauna, library, expedition laboratory and observation lounge to host lectures from the expert team on board.
The ship has a diesel-electric hybrid engine, Polar Class 6 ice-strengthened hull, and air conditioning with UV sanitisation systems, and is being built at the Helsinki shipyard.
Swan Hellenic recently delayed the launch of its second ship, Vega, which will now join sister vessel Minerva (below) in September (swanhellenic.com).
