Corsair goes curvy

Corsair has just introduced a new case that eschews the company’s usual straight edges in favour of a fancy new curved aluminium design, complete with smoked tempered glass side panels. Aside from the glass panels, the Obsidian

500D’s exterior is mainly constructed from black brushed aluminium, with the glass side panels hinged at the back so they can easily swing out when you need to access the insides.

The case features three 2.5in mounts, two 3.5in bays, along with a cable-routing channel behind the motherboard and a full-length PSU cover. There’s also a USB

3.1 Type-C port on the front panel, and the option to mount your graphics card vertically, so you can show it off through the tempered glass panel. The Obsidian

500D is available to pre-order now from for £140 inc VAT.
