What are you most looking forward to seeing at this year’s Tour de France?

The competition! I think the top five are going to show us fireworks that we have not seen in years. Froome has his work cut out this year. I’m also looking forward to seeing the younger guys finally having the balls to try and win instead of placing in the top 10.

A performance from Yates that makes him a future contender. Froome being unpredictable. Sagan winning stages. Cav rocking up, nicking one or two stages and going home early.

Obviously good sportsmanship from all teams, good weather, better crowd/ spectator control, and one hell of a race with the best athlete wearing the yellow jersey on the final day. Bring it on!

Van Garderen being two hours behind in the second week.

French supporters cheering for Froome and Team Sky. I’d really like to see Mark Cavendish breaking the record for most stage wins on the Tour. Also, I think Chris Froome will be pushed to his limits this year and hopefully we can see Richie Porte on the podium in Paris after the last stage. I’m looking forward to finding out if Romain Bardet is actually David Millar’s son. They look suspiciously similar and he’s bound to let it slip out somewhere during three weeks’ of commentary. For the first time in 25 years all the main mountain ranges in France will be used. Climb, Climb, Climb!

Skoda dance float.

More early two-to-four man attacks from the same team. I’d like to see Sagan, Quintana, Porte and other GC contenders push Froome beyond his limits. I’d also like to see Sagan as King of the Mountain and points leader.

Team cars and bikes behaving themselves. Being there to watch team presentation and Grand Départ with family. Joining in caravan warm-up like we did in Samur last year.

Drunk fans, in various states of dress, or not, ‘escorting’ the riders up hilltop finishes! As long as they don’t interfere with the riders…

An actual race, rather than a procession around France.
