Cycling Weekly - - TOUR OF BRITAIN -

The Swiss team are fielding two Tour of Britain crowd favourites, but expectations around Alex Dowsett and Marcel Kittel could not be more different. Without an individual time trial, Dowsett will be content with trying his luck in breakaways on lumpy stages, possibly stage three’s short haul in Bristol, while he will be key to their performance in the TTT. Most attention, however, will be fixed on German Kittel, who will be expected to add to his two victories he attained in the 2014 race, and also rectify his so far disastrous debut season with the Russian team.

n CW says If their sprint team can get in tune with one another, Kittel should be a match for Caleb Ewan and co. Dowsett is typically audacious in this race and expect him to be again. n Key rider Marcel Kittel Head-to-head he remains the fastest bike rider in the world.
