Up in the air with e-bikes

-

I have an Orbea Gain D10 e-bike which weighs just 13kg. I’m 76 and this bike makes a massive difference to my cycling enjoyment in many ways. I like cycling on the Continent, but I’ve found out that e-bikes can’t be transported on ordinary passenger flights when the lithium battery watt-hour (Wh) rating is greater than 180, which is the case with my e-bike.
