What has been your best cycling purchase this year?

-

A trip with 20+ riders with my club to Liège-bastogne-liège in Belgium... an awesome sportive and one that I would recommend to everyone. Paul Dutton

Does cake at the cafe count as a cyclingrelated purchase? Andy Turner

A track session for my lad. The smile he had after he spent 20 minutes riding at the top of the banking was worth a whole load. Tom Abbott

I have bought many things this year (hope the wife doesn’t read this, otherwise this is my last will and testament). I have bought a Madone 9.5, pedals, lights, and many items of clothing but the best item is a Hammer turbo trainer. David Lucock

Haven’t bought much kit this year, but my B’twin Ultra 900AF has been a bit special for me. It's been a big upgrade in kit compared to what I was on. Olaf Dennison

A gold leather handbag. Spotted in a boutique while out on a 200km Audax... quick call to shop and a couple of days later it was all mine! Nia James

Rapha merino underhat. Warm, toasty, light and fits nicely. My ears are very thankful. Thurstan Johnston Either my 4iiii power meter or Hunt Carbon 30 wheels. Kirk Vitty

It’s only a small one but a Wend wax kit from Jam Cycling — the difference from standard chain lube in smoothness and cleanliness is amazing. Well worth it and everyone should get one. Michael Penketh
