This seat roll and I go way back. We fell out once when its contents fell out on a bumpy trail, but I soon realised I had to install it so the openings to the slits for tools pointed up, not down (despite the flap that seals off said openings, gravity is a better friend). I like how tightly the Boa Dial pulls the Premio onto saddle rails so that nothing clacks or rattles, and it can also just about squeeze in the necessary without looking like a horse’s feedbag – levers, multitool, tube, ‘proper’ repair kit, tubeless plug kit, £2 coin, tyre boot, chainlinks, valve extender, zip ties. Hmm, I carry a lot. But then so can it.
